This is just a short story that explains why I got in to the accident reconstruction field. Years ago, as a Police Officer in Pennsylvania, we were taught an interesting way to investigate accidents where a car was struck pulling from a driveway or side street. Basically, if a car was driving forward from a driveway or side street and was struck in the front, the accident was the fault of the operator that was pulling out. If the impact occurred in the rear end of the car pulling out, it was blamed on the car driving on the main street as the logic was that that operator should have had time to stop. By attending numerous classes from on scene accident class to becoming certified as an accident reconstruction expert, I learned that there is so much more to most accidents than meets the eye and the old basic principles weren't necessarily correct. Therefore, I now look at accident investigations as a search for the truth. That is what our firm offers to you.
